Clay County will be conducting a Public Meeting on March 4, 2021 at 6 p.m. to obtain citizens' comments and input on possible projects that the County is considering requesting using the Community Development Block Grant-Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) funding. Clay County is eligible for up to a $5 million grant under the CDBG-CV program, that comes from the $5 billion the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act has appropriated for Community Development Block Grant-Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) funding nationwide to help assist low-income families and most vulnerable citizens.
The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity is pleased to announce the availability of funding for Small Cities and Entitlement units of local government under the Florida Community Development Block Grant-Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) program. The CDBG-CV programs are designed to help local governments prepare for, prevent, or respond to the health and economic impacts of COVID-19. The activities must be critical to their locality and primarily for the benefit of low- and moderate-income residents.
