 Gun Range

The 200-yard gun range is the first aspect to become a reality in the sprawling 158-acre complex near Camp Blanding, at 3829 Sergeant Bradley Crose Road, Middleburg, on County Road 215, just south of Oak Grove BaptistMan holding a gun at a range Church. The range has 45 shooting bays, including 24 pistol bays, four of which have steel targets, 15 rifle bays with steel targets on the 50, 100, and 200-yard lines, 2 shotgun bays, 2 tactical bays, and 2 speed steel lanes for pistol and pistol carbine rifles.

Shooters can use any firearm up to .50 caliber, semi-automatic and fully automatic. Range staff reserves the right to deny any firearm they deem unsafe.

The range is open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, except on observed Board of County Commissioners holidays. Local law enforcement agencies will use the range for training Monday through Wednesday, which will be closed to the public during that time.

Multiple safety features are built into the facility, including a ballistic sand downrange, a range tower, and a control tower. Shooters will have to complete a safety training video and sign a waiver, and range officials will be onsite at all times while the range is open. The range is also equipped with security cameras, and it is well-lit. Range staff will provide safety glasses and hearing protection and have that safety gear for sale at the range. Hunting is not allowed.
