College Drive Visioning Charettes

You can shape the future of College Drive for generations to come. We want to hear your ideas at the College Drive Visioning Charettes on Monday, October 7, and Tuesday, November 19 at 6 p.m. at the Thrasher-Horne Center in Orange Park. Charettes like these collaborative meetings are designed to gather stakeholders and community members so they can identify obstacles and come up with solutions.

College Drive is known as a major thoroughfare connecting the corridor between Blanding Boulevard and County Road 220. Residents believe it also has the potential to become the heart of community life in north-central Clay County, where residents and visitors can socialize with family and friends while enjoying entertainment and food spots. Although College Drive spans less than three miles, it is well-known for its numerous businesses, schools, and residents.

Can’t attend the charettes? You can still chime in by filling out the College Drive Surveywhere you can weigh in on choices like what kind of gateway signage, lighting design, murals, or furniture you’d like to see for this stretch roadway.
