Our Animal Control Officers are here to protect both the citizens and animals of Clay County. They do this by enforcing the laws established by our County Ordinances and State Statues, which were found to safeguard our citizens and their pets.
Our officers are in the field seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., responding to various concerns such as nuisance complaints, animal bites, injured animals, and animal cruelty. We also have an Officer on call (Emergencies Only) seven nights a week, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 a.m.
