Inmates together for a group pictures with dogs from the TAPS program, standing and squatting in front of a mural

Through the partnership with CCAS and Putnam Correctional Institution, the T.A.P.S. program pairs inmates and dogs from our facility to teach basic obedience. This can include a range of topics, including house training, crate training, and loose-leash walking. This program aims to increase the dogs' adoptability and decrease the likelihood that the dogs will be returned once adopted.
