Community Paramedicine provides no-cost naloxone, more commonly known as Narcan, to anyone in the community. By equipping individuals with naloxone and training them to identify and respond to an opioid overdose, the delivery of life-saving care can potentially be reduced from hours to seconds.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), someone else was present in nearly 40% of overdose deaths. Having naloxone available allows bystanders to help with a fatal overdose and save lives.

Community Paramedicine's Naloxone Coordinator can provide education on opioid overdose prevention, and the safe handling and distribution of Narcan, at no cost to everyone in the community.

Testimonials

"I wanted to thank you for the Narcan training. It came in handy. We had an employee OD and luckily, I had a box of Narcan in my truck. It was a great feeling to be able to help someone in that condition."

  Marc J.

“I attended the training on recognizing and responding to an opioid overdose. The training was so informative, and the instructor was very knowledgeable. I feel much more confident in my ability to reverse an overdose using Narcan. I really recommend this training for your business or church.”

 Jackie C.
