Ways to support:
The Friends of the Library work year-round to collect and sort donated books that the library can use. However, there are some items wanted by the library that do not get donated. The Friends have set up a Wish List, in the name of the "Fleming Island Friends," available on Amazon.com.
If you wish to donate an item to the library through the Friends, you can pick any item off the list, and it will be sent directly to the library, and a plaque with your name on it will be affixed inside the flyleaf.
The Friends greatly appreciate these contributions; your neighbors and friends will also benefit from them.
Turn old books into new ones:
Do you have new or gently used books at home that you no longer have room for? Please consider donating them to Fleming Island Library. Your used books may be added to the collection or sold by the Friends of the Library. Funds from this ongoing book sale are used to purchase new books, DVDs, and CDs for the collection that we might not otherwise be able to afford.
