ChromebookA Chromebook is a laptop that runs on Google’s Chrome operating system (OS). Great for internet research, streaming multimedia content, and working on documents or spreadsheets, Chromebooks are a simple yet versatile way to work and learn online. Once you log out, other users cannot access your personal data.  Each Chromebook kit includes a laptop, charging cord, and carrying case.

Borrowers must be 18 years or older, provide a photo ID, and possess a Clay County Public Library card in good standing at checkout. More information on Chromebooks can be found in the Chromebooks Borrowing Policy.
