Yes. Flex service allows for passenger pick-ups (route deviations) as time is available in the schedule for locations that are as far as 3/4 of a mile off of the Flex Route. You can see the Flex Routes on the route maps by clicking on the links below. Also included in those links are the route destinations and schedules.

To get started with a Flex Route, call and speak with a reservationist at 904-284-5977 about scheduling a convenient pickup from your location.
When time allows the driver to accommodate a request, a CCT shuttle will pick you up from your location and drop you off at any of the stops along the Red, Blue, Magenta or Green Lines. Pay only a $1 deviation* fee (per pick-up, per rider).

Yes! Clay Community Transportation through the Jacksonville Transportation Authority provides an easy, affordable - and flexible - way to get around the county. Like riding most other bus services, you can pick up a CCT shuttle from any one of the several stops throughout Clay county to get where you need to go. - The Board accepts public comment on any issue on its agenda. You must fill out a speaker card available on the table as you enter the Board Meeting room and give it to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office deputy on duty there. The Chairman of the Board will call on you when the Board is ready to receive public comments. A time certain may also be scheduled with the approval of the Chairman.

Residents with curbside collection can call Environmental Services at 904-284-6374 to schedule a pickup. Appliances must be emptied of all food, clothing, etc. and the doors should be secured or removed.
Clay Express Select offers commuters an executive-style, affordable ride between Clay County and the Jacksonville Regional Transportation Center at LaVilla (JRTC) in downtown Jacksonville. Clay Express Select vehicles offer comfortable seating and modern-day conveniences like complimentary Wi-Fi and USB charging ports. In addition, all vehicles are equipped with wheelchair access.
The service leaves from multiple locations:
- Black Creek Park-n-Ride near the corner of Doctors Inlet and Sleepy Hollow Road and board the shuttle at the bus shelter, or
- Any of the other Clay Express Select stops along Park Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard.

Hours Of Operation
The service is offered from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Service is not available Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.

The Administration Building located at 477 Houston Street, Green Cove Springs, Florida hours of operation are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

- Standard Fare – $1.00
Adults and children age 7 and older - Reduced Fare – $0.50
Children (age 6 and under), senior passengers (age 60 and older), passengers with disabilities and Veterans - Deviation Fee – $1.00
Per scheduled pick-up, per rider
To receive a Reduced Fare, proof is required in the form of a state-issued I.D. or Medicare card. Veterans must show a valid Military I.D. Proof is not required for children age 6 and under.

Unless otherwise noticed, the Board of County Commissioners meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. in the Board’s meeting room on the fourth floor of the Administration Building, 477 Houston Street, Green Cove Springs, Florida. - Residents with curbside collection can call Environmental Services at 904-284-6374 to schedule a pickup. Alternatively, appliances may be delivered to the Rosemary Hill Solid Waste Management Facility at 3545 Rosemary Hill Road, Green Cove Springs, for disposal. Appliances must be emptied of all food, clothing, etc. and the doors should be secured or removed.
Residents with curbside collection service may place furniture items on the curb by 6:00 A.M. on the normal garbage collection day or deliver it to the Rosemary Hill Solid Waste Management Facility at 3545 Rosemary Hill Road, Green Cove Springs, for disposal.
Residents may dispose of HHW at the County’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center located at the Rosemary Hill Solid Waste Management Facility, 3545 Rosemary Hill Road, Green Cove Springs. HHW includes batteries, electronics, motor oil, oil filters, paints, pesticides, pool chemicals, and propane tanks. This is for household materials only, business and commercial waste is not accepted. There is a 25-gallon limit per day disposal limit. Alternatively, limited materials may be taken to the Environmental Convenience Centers. The ECCs can accept 5 gallons of used motor oil and antifreeze per visit, as well as used oil filters and batteries.
You can deliver tires to the Rosemary Hill Solid Waste Management Facility at 3545 Rosemary Hill Road in Green Cove Springs. Qualified residents may dispose of up to four passenger tires per month at no charge. Proof of Clay County residency (examples include driver’s license, lease, or utility bill) will be required.
CCT services routes through Fleming Island, Gainesville, Green Cove Springs, Keystone Heights, Middleburg, Orange park, and Penney Farms.
