The Risk Management Department helps to protect the county's assets, including its employees, by managing insurance as well as employee safety programs. The department works to make sure the County has proper workers compensation insurance, automobile insurance, property insurance and general liability insurance.

Our department also oversees the County’s AED program as well as the planning, developing and implementing the County’s safety program and related policies. We ensure County employees are operating in a safe manner, protecting County assets by identifying and protecting the County against potential loss exposures.
