  • Who can participate in the program?

    Children who have not yet started Kindergarten or the homeschool equivalent are eligible for the program.


  • How do patrons register for the program?

    Register at any Clay County Public Library branch or through the online registration form.


  • How many logs are there?

    There are 10 logs to complete the program, one for each 100 books to 1000.

  • What are the incentives?

    For each log returned, participants will receive a sticker, a certificate, and a coloring sheet.

    At 100 books read participants will also receive an at home tracker sheet.

    At 500 books read, participants will also receive bubbles.

    At 1000 books read, participants will also receive a yet to be determined additional prize.


  • What counts towards the 1000 books?

    Any book read to or by a participant, regardless of how many times it’s been read to them. Every reading counts as a book on the log. This includes books read at any Clay County Public Library storytime!
